Constant Current Source

The Constant Current Source is used to deliver a mild aversive stimulation. It can be used either through a low-impedance subcutaneous electrode or with a scrambler and grid floor. The high (1000 V) compliance voltage allows delivery of a constant current (0-0.7mA) across virtually any practical impedance. The Constant Current Source is controlled by either digital or analog signals, making it an extremely versatile laboratory instrument.

Curent Source key features :

  • Maximum output current 0.7mA
  • Maximum output voltage 1000V
  • Isolated current
  • Optically-isolated analog or digital control
  • Built-in battery charger
  • Output current monitor
  • Pulse / DC modes
  • Low-impedance electrode or grid floor configurations
