The team combines for 27 years in business, 22 years in science with significant international experience. In addition to being Directors and Officers at BSG, members of the business team hold the following other positions which provide them with a broad outreach to the scientific, business, research and legal communities. Andre is Asst. Professor at SUNY, NY. Sasha is Microsoft Public Sector lead attorney for Europe, Middle East and Africa at MS legal dept. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, USA and the Czech Republic. John was from 2000-2004 the finance director of Centrum CZ Holdings BV, the second largest Czech internet portal, with venture investment from Intel Capital and Baring Communications Equity. Jim is the founder and head of Axona, a leading neuroscience research equipment company with broad exposure in Europe, and is also a visiting chief engineer at the Centre for the Biology of Memory at the Norwegian Technical University in Trondheim, Norway. BSG Background and Mission: BSG was established in July 2002. Shortly after that, BSG started supplying devices which support behavioral experiments in laboratories throughout Europe. Its goal is to work with affiliated scientists and laboratories for identifying interesting and far-reaching neuroscience technology, and playing a lead role in its development and commercialization. For fulfillment of this goal, BSG will bring the best available human resources, private finance and develop strategic partnerships with neuroscientists and private businesses. BSG's partners and affiliates are a group of scientists and researchers who have been related to each other over a long period of intensive scientific work, research and academic debates over their innovative ideas and scientific projects. BSG is a commercial entity. Its business model is built around commercialization of the technology.
